Anyone got a B&B catback?
I'm curious if anyone is running a B&B catback how do you like it ?
This would be going on an 01 SS with LT headers and no cats.
thanks

I have it on my 99 Z and i love it. Its got a nice deep tone to it. I also have LT's and no cats. The only thing that i dont like about it is that the tips really dont shine up that nice

I've got one and I like the sound. Not a loud catback but a nice smooth deep tone. I'm sure it'll be alot louder w/o cats, but I still run high flow cats to avoid the rasp and stench.
Only drawback is that I've heard it is a restrictive exhaust although gm high tech did a test on a stock car and showed 1 or 2hp loss vs a cutout. Can't tell if it's a straight through design as the tailpipes are welded to the muffler so you can't see inside.

B&B is probably just as bad, if not worse flowing than a Flowmaster muffler. I ran a B&B on my car for a while, sounds great but doesn't flow worth a ****. I gained 11 rwhp over the B&B going to the 250 dollar Hooker catback with a better sound to boot...
And aside from that, anybody who pays the retail price of a B&B either has way to much money, or needs their heads checked. It's an overpriced shiny turd...

I had one on my 94 Corvette and loved it. JpowZ28, try using mothers aluminum polish on the tips, worked great for me.
Was wondering how it was on these cars, apparently dosen't flow quite as well.

i have one on my 01 ws6. i did'nt want a loud car and the b&b has a nice mellow rumble. for power, don't even think about it. in fact, when i installed the b&b on my car i lost 1/4mi time. i was going 12.95 with a lid& k&n,160 t-stat and some bfg's,i then added the b&b and could only get a 13.15 and i went to the track 4 times.if i could do it again,i would keep the stocker and buy an elec-cutout(i have one,it sounds bas ***)so you can get the sound when needed,10hp and alot of saved $$$ for better mods. do the right thing bro, goodluck to ya.

I'lI have a 3" SLP on the car now, I'll just leave well enough alone. I wasen't looking for any performance gain, I just loved the sound of the B&B on my other car. Only thing I really don't like about the SLP is the tips, they look too small for the car IMO. Those B&B tips look bad ***.
