it is loud and has a lot of rasp around 2100-2600 and sounds mean as hell at WOT. It is a "love/hate exhaust." I love it but it definately gets old sometimes.
I would just do a search on it, you will gets lots of hits on it. Also, review jrp's newbie guide as well as his exhaust guide (hint: it is the 3rd sticky above). Another good site is www.ls1sounds.com

the rasp on the loudmouth/ory is sometimes any issue with some while others dont care.......im gonna install my headers in about two weeks witht the new motor so my final verdict is right around the corner....
some people have removed the reso and installed a borla XR-1 or a dyna bullet......the first being the most expensive (120 or around there) and better flowing while the bullet is aight!!! i would go for the borla if i feel i must......
the rasp is something of any issue but it will be LOUD and kick tons of a$$!!!!!! if you want a more chill tone a volume than opt for either a stock exhaust( doesnt sound good at all...IMO), add cats (wont kmake that much more of a difference), or swap the loudmouth for a muffler style catback like a borla, with the plates or a random tech.....
search the site and ull find tons of hits..
good luck.....

Had LM with cats and LT's, sounded like ***, went to the bullet, a little better. I'd go with the XR1, just finished putting one my buddies Z with macs, ory and it sounds fuggin awesome

It sounds like ***. Its raspy with cats, without them its just plain ***. Grant it, it does sound pretty wicked, but its raw and unrefined. Heard a car with Kooks/Cats/Borlamouth and it sounded pretty good. Stick with cats AND an XR-1.
