Default Fuel Injector Upgrade.. Tune Required?

going from 1999 injectors to LS6 intake and 28 injectors will this require a tune to accept the new injectors?
Thanks

I used a MAF for a month, then had an LS1Edit tune, then had it retuned locally thru HPTuners.
