people with jet hot headers...
how do you like them? any complaints? how is the fitment?
just trying to see what the general concensus is on these, i have a chance to pick up a used set with low miles and just seeing if its worth getting them, or holding out even longer for kooks (which ive been wanting forever )
TIA!

I've had mine for 4 months and couldn't be happier. They do not bang and they went in exceptionally easy on both sides. Sometimes the engine has to be lifted a slight bit for the drivers side header with some brands, but not Jet-Hot. The driver's side went in easier than the passenger side to me. I did not go with a y pipe set up, as I have true duals. You won't regret the JetHots. Go for it.

I like mine. Had to notch the K-member a tad, they cleared until the engine torqued when placed in gear the tolerances were so close. I do, however, wish that I had the money for kooks/qtp stainless because mine sees winter.

JetHots are a quality peice. The Y is a POS. I installed the JetHot's at the same time I was re-installing my motor. They seemed to want to catch on the left rear machining tab. I unbolted the motor mount, lifted (rolled) the engine to the right side and it slipped right in. The only thing I don't care for is the #8 spark plug. Not that #8 is easy to get to in the first place, but with the #8 primary directly in front of the plug, it's a bit more challenging to work with that plug.

Where did you get the VHT clearcoat?
I've been looking at getting these. I know their y-pipe is crap. From what I've seen the My choices are either; TSP ORY, Hooker ORY, or the Mufflex ORY. Think I'll go with the TSP piece unless some say's otherwise.
Is the Mufflex piece worth being almost double the Price? ( have to spend 25 more for a reducer)

I got VHT clear (1200º) from jegs. Its still working pretty well, and has been holding up against the road salt now that we're half way through the winter here in the northeast. I was just under the car 2 days ago. the rest of the exhaust that I fabbed up is however starting to rust a litle at the welds.

I love my JetHots, the headers that is. Their YPipe is a piece of crap. Took damn near as long to install the YPipe and get it to line up as it did to take off the manifolds and install the headers. Only thing I had to do was grind the casting tab on the block and they slid right in.
