Today we installed my new Art Carr torque converter (3000 stall) wow what a difference! I'm very impressed; it feels like a different car. Now for the question, I've read that if you take the check ball out of the input shaft it helps the converter hit harder as well as some other benefits. Precision Industries recommends that you take it out for the Vig as well. So we took out the check ball and it works great but it's now giving me an error code and my check engine light is on. I don't remember the code but it had to do with the converter. Is this normal? Will I need to turn something off with LS1 edit?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
