Default W T F was speed inc thinking

alright i tried to get some help of the nitrous threads.i have the speed inc fuel rails on my car .I used the clamps they sent me to attach it to the factory hard line and it kept on blowing off/leaking.I ended up buy a compression fitting to remedy the problem but w/ all the adaptors on it.it looks like s---. can one of you show me a pic of how you did yours.its embrassing to pop the hood and people say whats that[looking at the fuel line setup]?
oh ya i called speed inc about the clamps, and they said it how they do most of thier cars. i find it hard to believe 2 pep boys clamps is all they use theres got to be something better working or looking than that!

You can try some high torque clamps, I have seen them but I dont know where to get them off the top of my head. Also try scuffing the outside of the hardline a bit to get it to bite a little better.

Just found some

The disconnect/fuel line fitting is not in the areomotive or earls catalogs, last I heard earls was going to start making it and we would include it in our install kits. The clap style installation has been used on all our installs using the factory feed, never once have we had problems. This is a very serious issue and would never mess around with pressurized fuel. Before driving the car with any fuel system work done you should always pressurize the system and make sure there are no leaks.

I have my return and feed line setup with their clamps that came in the fuel rail kit. I flared the top of the EVAP line and clamped it for the return. Cut the quick disconnect fitting off the feed line and slipped it into the braded line and clamped it for the feed. I had a few leaks develop a few times but after retightening couple of times it seems to hold fine now.

I tried your clamps several times, and hell when I called you guys about this you ended up sending more of them.but simply didnt work.Ive tighten them to the point were they strip.and they leak.if there is a fitting that will be made in the future that gos on the disconnect/fuel line please let me. Im not downing your product just think theres gotta be a better way .and I know better than to simple fire up my car before check for leaks thats why I purchased that compression fitting and all the adapters to make it work.

I looked at more photos.they were very helpful. on your car the cas regulator covers up the line i was talking about.you have the same exact fitting on the hard line but I needed another adapter from 6an-8an so I could fittings the kit came with. it just doesnt look all that good w/ all that s--- attached together.no one seems to make a 3/8 pipe -8an fitting to clean up the mess I have. it doesnt look good at all just imagine a 3/8pipe-6an female to 6an male-8an male adapter to 8an female-8an braided hose clamp fitting.

ya I know . I ended up buying the same one. but the kit from speed inc comes with 8an stuff and the fitting is 3/8-6 an .then you have to get all those adaptors because I was unable to find a 3/8-8an adaptor.
