Default Another Cage Question

I appologize for making another post, but i am gathering as much info before making any mistakes with my cage install and choices..

What is Jig notched?
Is there a differnce between bolt in a weld in other then the fact that you can remove a bolt in?
How much weight is saved with Cromoley over mild steel?

Jig notched is fish mouthing the tube so it will fit around its mate.

Mild steel weighs 2.75 lbs per foot. Chromemoly is 1.1 a ft.

easier to install and weld, its hard to weld the tubes together if there is a big gap

The Wolfe jig notching is done precisely enough that the bar is literally a hold and weld installation. With most rollbar kits, you still have to do a bit of trimming/final fitting to the car. With a jig-notched Wolfe, you don't.
