Default th400 w/high stall?

Can a th400 w high stall (4000) be driven for extended periods on the highway? I have been told this will burn up the converter over time from continually slipping, any thoughts?

I wouldnt think so, with 3.73+ gears you'd be fine.

Just use a huge cooler! We have a 4600 stall and 4.33 gears, not a street car at all, and I wouldn't recommend it with a similar setup.
