6.0 and LS1 ????????????????

I need to now what the 6.0 engine? and what the difference between the LS1 and 6.0 engine

LS1 is aluminuma 5.7
6.0 is iron 6.0

The iron block is missing one hole that needs to be tapped so you can install the Alternator properly.
