Forgive my ignorance, but how is The builder of this engine (American Speed) getting these numbers, and nothing like it in this forum?

GTM Prototype #2
Not available yet. Factory Five Racing (FFR) have taken 2+ years in development and hundreds of thousands of dollars. Production will begin this Spring for previous FFR owners. Kit starts at 20k then add the wrecked C5.

I think there are some cars like that on this forum. But a Dart Al block sound like a BBC to me. Any idea on displacement?

Stroked small block (sbc not ls1) BFC (big ******* cam) and some really nice flowing 18* heads. And an intake that will support that power. Very costly which is why you don't see that much around here. Considering heads/cam/header + bolt-ons with a LS1 can get you over 500bhp for way less.

i looked at that engine and basicly its a no expense spared motor
its not that hard with a monster cam like that with those heads, titanium valves, dry sump setup, etc ... its perectly balanced im sure and its probably running a little on the loose side
if its a 400 destroked to a 377 then its got about a 4.125 bore which will unshroud the valves and allow bigger valves and let them flow nice

Not very hard at all. We have 4.030 bore motors doing that and for half the price. Have a 418 Windsor Ford that makes that (685 @ 7000) for less than half too! They are using 18 degree chevy heads which can make 800 or more on a larger engine with more compression. It's all in the cylinder heads.

We've got a naturally aspirated inline six cylinder making 640hp in one of our cars, makes 2.47 hp per cube. We have a no expense spared 440 small block going together right now, Pro Topline heads, titanium rods, etc that will make over 900 hp N/A. 660 from a 377 is pretty stout but nothing extraordinary.

Aaron's motor was a budget build as well!
