vibration sf3000
98z28a4 I just installed a sf3000 and the vibration that i had before is a little worse now. It is between 2200 & 2500 in any gear including N and P. I have the stock mount still bacause with the prothane it would rattle your teeth out.does any one have any sugestions? Also is it normal for the tcc to take for ever to lockup when the trans is cold?

This is reported by a fair number of guys after an aftermarket tc install. The usual suggestion is to drop the inspection cover and rotate the tc on the flexplate. I have a SF3000 waiting to be insalled and am concerned about the same problem as I have vibration now in third only 2100-2300rpm. (By the way, these vibrations seem to commonly occur in the rpm range you describe).
The converter will not lock until the tranny reaches a certain operating temp. There was a thread on this recently.
