Default Internals ! Advice needed

Hi guys. I need some advice on my current plan for this spring which is ... heads and camsahft install. My goal is to make the car move pretty damn quickly .. Id like to see at least mid 11s. The thing is I also want to drive the car on the street.. enjoy it.. not just let is sit in the garage. Mid 11sec car which is driveable... everything done... the RIGHT way. I am not saying driving it who knows how far. All I drive is 5 miles to work sometimes...and i like to drive around with my buddies. CAr is an auto, with 4.10 gear,Lid,mass air, ported TB 79mm, LS6 manifold,SLP Long tubes,no cats,3inch x-pipe,dynomax mufflers. Air flow taken care of Now... Cam and heads.. what I was thinking is... get my stock heads..get them ported to stage 2 heads size 2.02/1.60 valves.. reaplce everything on them.. Comp rockers, dual srpings, lifters, pushrods, retainers. Than camshaft... My options are:
224/224 .581/.581 LSA:114
231/237 .589/.595 LSA:112
232/240 .595/.610 LSA:112
242/242 .595/.595 LSA:112
I dont want to go over 3600 stall with it.
Also bough SLP oil pump already and double roller timing chain.

Please keep in my mind what my goals are. Mostly I care about is the car to be done RIGHT WAY...safe for motor. Not pain in the *** to drive on the street.
About hitting mid 11s..lets say..motor capable of mid 11s ..Driver is decent Car has full suspenion done and tranmition built. Also ET streets.

Please critique..gime if advices ...sugestions..ideas..
Thank You !

TAke care

What I'm doing is a set of AFR 205s with about stock compression (planning for a blower later), with a 224/224 XER cam. I have the SY3500 convertor. I want excellent drivability, and I know I'll get it with this. Before the H/C, I ran 12.5-12.6 routinely, so the high 11's is what I am shooting for. I'd likel try more Compression than me. As for the best cam, sky is the limit, and it really depends on the tune. If you doa search on the matter, you'll pretty much find that same opinion, esp. about drivability. Though in the A4, likely the 231/237 would be the max. Going bigger might be forcing you to look at a bigger stall TC than the 3600 you mention. Try maybe a 224/228.

You're in IL, give Tom Izzo a call at Speed Inc. He'll answer your questions and get you the parts. --->

If it was my car I'd get the Heads Ported, decide on the complete combination and see if you can find someone to build a camshaft to match it....

Everyone has a different opinion on what's driveable so it's hard to pick from any of those shelf grinds and match it to your combo.
