scratched one of my heads

scratched one of my heads i have a little scratch on the bottom of one of my heads. i hit one of the arp studs putting the head on the car 
. its not real deep but i can see it none the less. looks to be about an inch long. my question is will it leak? i know its a tough question to answer, just wondering if any one else had this happen to them. i am asking this question a month after i installed the heads too. guess i should of asked before. im using cometic gaskets. pat
