Default Jack stands

I'm gonna be doing another H&C swap soon but was curious how long is it safe to keep your car up on 4 jack stands? I don't have a lift so this is my option for working under the car.

I might be keeping it up longer while I wait for some internals to be installed in a new block. It would be up until I get it back and get it installed. Is there a limit that would not be recommended? 2 weeks - a moth or something.

I had mine on stands for 5 months last winter no problems. I just put some cardboard between stands and frame just not to scratch the frame.

I had mine on jacks for what seemed a life time and it was ok just put the jack up to it with no pressure just in case something happens.

I did my entire cam/shorty/pulley swap with just ramps in the front. No problems, no need for extra room.
