Who's glide?? Who's do you use?
I am trying to find a glide that will last but wont cost me $5000.
I have seen
TCI: Decent prices around $2200 without a dedenbear case
Rossler: Similar prices to TCI but a few $ less
ckperformance: Great prices, grand national guys love them
Mike's Transmission: Great reputation but $$
100000 other places that claim to make strong glides
Now the Glide is the most common drag trans out there help me sift through all the mess.
Here is the breakdown of the car if it makes a difference for strength.
~2800lbs with driver
~600 rwhp NA and another 200 on the juice
I am not trying to find out ratios or anything I will let the builder decide that by looking at the dyno sheet I just want to narrow the search and the drag racing folks seem to know best.

Rossler or Hutch are the two best names in the business for race prepped Glides, 350's and 400's. There are a ton of low 7 and high 6 second 200 MPH cars out there running their transmissions reliably.

The TH210 is very expensive, but a nice trans. It just depends on what you want to do. The TH210 is a TH400 with a 2.10 first gear. Compare that to a glide with a 1.80 first gear. You can get the glide with some other choices as well. It just depends on what your setup is and what you want to do that will help you figure that out. You may want to actually try and call Carl or Hutch and ask them what they think. They only build the things every day. So, I'm sure that you'll learn more in 10 minutes from either of them than you will from anyone else.

Hutch's trans service in London, Ontario, Canada is all we use for powerglides. He's the guy for that trans. Real easy to deal with to, very good guy! PM me if you want his number.
Thanks,
