This sound right?
I'm gonna get the 05177NOS kit, window switch, WOT switch, bottle heater, new plugs, and that's it, right?
Should I descreen my MAF? Do I mount it in my lid or what?
Also, would an NX wet kit be safter than this dry kit?

Yeah the 5177 get's mounted in the lid, it comes with a WOT switch too. You might want to pick up a filter too. Most people pull their screens so they don't freeze up. If your intrested in the NX wet as well I would go that route. You'll make more power and you'll have more room to grow with the kit. I can't count how many people say they only want to spray a 75 or 100 shot and then their spraying a 150 with in a month. The saftey factor can be argued to death, I feel the 5177 is the safest at a 75-100 shot but a wet kit will be just as safe if you do routine checks and keep an eye on things. If you go with a wet kit just pick up a gauge that will show O2mv so you can atleast tell if the O2s take a dive because of a fuel problem, or you can splurge and get a wideband.

Thanks guys. What does an FPSS do? I know it's a fuel pressure safety shutoff, but how does it work? I thought this kit came with something similar to that in the fact that it shuts off when there is not enough fuel.

The 5177 comes with the FPSS. It will shut down the system if you get a drop in fuel pressure. They usually take some tweeking to get it right. It's basicly just a ground switch. If there is not enought fuel pressure the noids or relay won't get grounded depending on how you wire it.
