Default 3.73's and gas mileage

I remember someone talking about it a while ago, but if I went from my stock 3.23's to 3.73's would I have any better gas mileage? I mostly just cruise around town btw.
Thanks.

Honestly i didn't notice much of a difference on the highway it was about the same. In town its a little different cause i like to give hell of the line so it wastes a little more.

For an A4, 3.73's are quite economical. They are perhaps even more so than the 3.46 I have. Thye require less stick from idle and cruise at just above 2000RPM on the freeway. They do whine ever so slightly at about 85kph but otherwise - Im pretty impressed with them. I stil love my 3.46 tho...
