Ok so I have a 98 z a4 and I know that I have a 4l60e no question in that, but I was under the impression that all the ls1's had the 2 piece case but since I'm not doing the transmission work myself for lack of tools I don't know if it has the 1 piece case or not, I ordered a 2 piece case because I was almost positive that is what it has but then I get a call from the transmission guy saying that it is the wrong damn case I was a little more then pissed because the guy couldn't even tell me if it was a one or a two or if it was because they made more then one model of the 2 piece case so I'm lost I have no idea what transmission to get, do I need a 1 piece case? or do I need a different model 2 piece case?
