Default Power Antena question

I have been searching for the last hour and know that I have seen it on this site before. Can someone please post the parts list and install directions for the power antena mod. I would like to have a manual override switch so that I can have the antena down while I'm listening to CD's. Thanks in advance.

Here you go:

http://www.blackcamaro.com/antenna.htm

If you follow these instructions and wire it just like it says you wont need a manual switch, the antenna will go down when you play a CD automatically.

Good Luck and Have fun!

The antenna will NOT go down when playing a CD without a switch. It will stay up if installed per the referenced directions. However, the switch part is easy. Just install it oon the lead wire shown in the directions.

The antenna WILL go down, did it on mine for about 2 months. See the link below, if you plug it into that 3rd empty slot it will go down with the cd on. I had to fuse it to the yellow wire next to it in order for it to stay up the whole time (got tired of it going up and down every time I switched it).

What's the easiest way to just totally disconnect the power antenna completely? I never ever use the radio, just my CD player.

Congratulations you have a freak radio. Mine did not go down when I played a CD until I installed a switch. My lead is in the 3rd slot. (Technically it is pin 8, count is from the other end.) I have spoken with several friends and all of them report that their antenna stays up when a CD is played.

For all that are considering this mod, usually, the antenna does not go down during CD play.
