Default Battery Relocation Question

Do I need to put a fuse or breaker on the power wire?

Seems like a good idea for saftey but the breaker/fuse would have to be HUGE to avoid popping every time I start the car.

Let me know guys.

Thanks!

Your best bet is use the Taylor relocation kit. The gauge is high enough on the cable that you wont have any problems or need a fuse..

I have already wired everything up with a Summit Kit.
Just wondering if I needed to add a breaker or fuse.
Research is suggesting just add a cut-off switch and make sure you route everything so you dont cut thru the wire and you should be good.

What size power wire did you install with that kit? I've been planning on doing the same some time soon. The stock setup didnt have a fuse, so I don't see why you would need one now.
