Default I need wiring help / MSD adjustable (pill) window switch and NX FPSS.

I know this has come up several thousand times, but I cant seem to find any scematics that work in the posts.

I have had my MSD Window Switch (pill style) and NX FPSS for a few months now, and the weather is now permitting me to install them. I know the window switch needs to have both loops cut and put in four cylinder mode, and I have the packaged installation instructions for both the WS and FPSS. What I am looking for is where exactly these wires get spliced into, for both the FPSS and the WS. A general diagram really wont help me too much, but a description of each wire and where I need to put it would be the best. I need to get this stuff in tomorrow (Sat 3/12), please help me out with this one.

Thanks
Fry

One more question... Is it a bad idea to have multiple grounds on the same location? and can I use my red wire (+) of the relay for my switched 12 volt + connection on the WS.

You can put all the grounds on one location. As long as its a good solid ground, not dirt, grease, paint. Is this what you mean on the red wire?

The photo didnt work, and the link wont work either. But what I mean is can I splice the switched 12V+ wire from the window switch into the wire that runs between the WOT switch and the relay? If not...where.

I didnt think about that, where would be a good place to get power then? The switch is going to be located on top of the passenger wheel well, in front of the pcm.

So ricky, is that a good place for the 12+v wire from the window switch? or should I try to find another hot wire to splice into?

The 12volt input wire for the window switch, just pull from the hot wire going to the wot switch. Then you know it has voltage when you arm the system. Any other place and you could end up with a blown fuse and the window switch not have power.

I have the MSD Digital window Switch. I also have the NX Nitrous kit with MAF Ends. All of the stuff in your diagram. Do I hook mine up the same way you are discribbing?

Yup.

Hey Rick. I got a quick question. I have gotten backed up and am getting to my wiring this afternoon. I checked out my relay last night, and noticed I have 5 wires coming out of it. The white wire is being used as my ground...what I am wondering is does the ground on the window switch replace the ground off of the relay. The other wires on the relay (red, black, & green) all go to the correct places, and as for the 5th wire I cant recall what color it is or if it is hooked up because I thought the ground is ust getting replaced. What do I need to do?

Thanks
Fry

Is there a reason the FPSS is on the ground side? Is there any reason it can't be on the positive side?
