Default Paging: WAHUSKER (or anyone else that knows)

Where did you get the chrome looking overlay sticker for the bird on the license plate cover up front?

Thought those would look really nice on my Formula, but I'm having some trouble finding chrome finish ones... I've found every other color but that one. I know Firebat used to do them, but he's got out of that business now.

Any ideas?

Here are a couple kinda bad quality pics but you can get the idea if it is what you are looking for hopefully. If you want/need more pics or info, feel free to PM or email or ask here or whatever.

That is where I got mine. But you are right Zeke, Afterthoughts doesn't list ANY chrome emblems anymore. I wonder why??? ****, your the LS2 co-owner, call them & ask (& then tell all of us). In the meantime, I'll snoop around.

Honestly, I don't recall, but I am almost positive that it is the same size/same one....but he has them just like mine for the front bird if it isn't...........I know cuz I "had" a white one on there from him for a while.............give him a yell and he will hook you up.

I will go do a quick search thru my receipts to see what the paperwork says about it.........and get back to ya.

Kewl, they have them and they're cheaper than Afterthoughts, too.

Chrome license plate bird... chrome PONTIAC overlay for the rear.

They also have the things to put on your center caps to cover up the "WS6" thing on them... so I got black ones with red screaming chickens on them.

One note, wherever possible, after installing those overlays cover them with a coat or 2 or clearcoat. Keeps the edges from peeling....

That was my mistake and I ended up removing them from the front bird, the "PONTIAC" headlight lettering and the side door badges......

I would do that but I think of what they're gonna look like in 2-3 years. It would be much easier to just replace them every couple of years than it would be to have to deal with it if they're clear-coated on.

Well, that was what I ordered...

I got a chrome "Pontiac" inlay... a white license plate bird (it says chrome on the invoice), and the center cap things are just black with nothing on them.
