New idea for 5.7 badges on WS6 *PICS*
Well I had some free time today with nothing to do, so rather than wasting it, I got an early jump on one of my spring projects. First I removed the "Trans Am" letters on the side, then the side mouldings. What a pain that was...but completely worth it. I applied my MBA rear lettering, looks great of course.
Now for the best part...I had ordered two 5.7 (GTO) badges for the car because I had an idea for them that I thought might look nice. I was wrong...it looks AMAZING. Check it out...
Unfortunately it was night before I finished, so bright daytime pics will have to wait...here's an overall shot...
I thought this was a great pic of the MBA lettering...
Needless to say i'm very happy with today's project.

Looks good! Now you just need to get your Trans Am and bird in the back changed. I know a guy who makes a really REALLY nice vinyl that looks just like billet alumnium and does those decals. I cant post the name cause i dont think he's a sponsor, but if you're interested PM me.

Where/how much did you get the "5.7" emblems for?

I've got an extra pair that i'll be selling on here if my buddy doesn't want them.

I think the 5.7 looks kinda outta place. The optimal spot is on the rear of the car under the driver side taillight, as a mirror of the WS6 emblem
Daytime pics...

Looks good, just not sure I would do it.

But that thought had crossed my mind.
Also of note...you would not believe how many Mustang owners know almost nothing about our cars. I've gotten more comments in the past three days because of these badges then i've gotten even with my LPE FRCs on. "Whoa that's the 5.7? How much more does it cost to get that engine?" or "Where did you find one with the 5.7L in it?" I guess everyone thinks that all muscle cars must have a 5.0 in them.
