Question Which bottle heater will stay around 1100psi?

I installed my NOS bottle heater a long time ago and removed the sensor or whatever it was that kept the psi only around 900psi. And I knows its not too safe, left the bottle on for too long once and wasted a whole bottle from too much psi. Can I modify my NOS heater to stay around 1100psi?
If not how is DynoTune or NX's bottle heater or is there any better?

thanks

Yes you can modify you heater with a dynotune pressure switch in place of the temp sensor, you will also need an adapter to adapt the 1/8" ntp switch to your 4 or 6an line. http://www.speedshop.org/store/scrip...p?idproduct=43

Here's what I have. http://www.archeat.com/Merchant2/mer...egory_Code=NBH

I have just the 110v plug in type. It will heat my bottle from 500psi to 1100 in less than 5 minutes. I will maintain it as the one I have has a termo.

On the NOS heater you can also change the *85 degree thermastats to 95 dergrees. That will get you to the pressure you want. Nos is also 300watts so it's quicker than most.

As stated earlier, get a pressure regulator and don't look back. I have the Dynotune setup and it works great and is priced right.

I have a cold fusion one and it used to heat to ~1100 PSI when new but now it seems to peak around 900 PSI but I don't have it wired directly to the battery.

I think the Dyno Tune pressure switch is the only adjustable one out there.

well it looks like I will be going with Dynotunes
how long is it to install and is it pretty simple? Will it come on automatic or is there another switch to add?

Robert, I checked out the link and I do not see where you can get a complete nitrous bottle heater kit with an adjustable pressure transducer, heater element and everything else needed for installation for $20? Am I missing something??

He was saying the thermostats are $20. On a factory NOS heater, it has the 85* stats that only permit about 900psi. When you switch them to 95* stats, it allows about 1100 psi.

juiSSed1172,
You are right - I just saw in his quote $119 so I thought he was refering to the full kit. Our transducer only is $49.

WickedSS,
This will work for you - it is $49 and we feel the best transducer on the market for this application. http://www.speedshop.org/store/scrip...p?idproduct=43

Thanks,
Dean

Im not tring to answer for him. But I think is to high because most companies do there HP ratings off of a lower bottle pressure with there jet combos to assure a safe mixture.Unless of course its a dry system then it dont matter what the bottle is.
