Default K&N Filters Cheap?????

Ok My husband & I went looking around at this place that we know have some auto motive stuff for fairly nice price. So we were looking & I see this K&N Oil filter for $.50 I am like kewl it even fits his car. Then we go back & we see this air filter box that is suppost to be for his 99 LS1 car but it was really the L98 Filters again $.50 I am thinking $$$$$$$$$ on ebay. SO on monday I am going back & grabing all they have left & dropping them on ebay after I find out what car they go to.
Easy few $$$$

A $15 oil filter for 50 cents???? Ever hear the phrase, you get what you pay for?????? I would be very careful about a place selling something "new" for 1/30th the price of retail................as for the air filter, that is even more marked down and I would be even more skeptical. But that is just me......

Is $10 for the normal size or the large one? And 25% off is still a LOT more then 50 cents......

The place is a liquodation (SP) place They had the filters there for several months now & cant get rid of them so they are marking them down to get rid of them. Back in Dec my husband & I went to this place & picked up the same Air filters *thats how we org knew they were in the wrong box* & they were $35.00 we took it back because we didnt need ones for my car (still dont). Thats why we did pick them up because they were so cheap & that we are going to get the right cars they belong to & put them on ebay starting at $9.95.

Yes, some people use the large ones for putting 6qts. in rather than 5.5. I can't do that though because mine would scrape on the ground.

Before selling them on eBay how about offering them on the forums? I could use a couple.

If they are really that cheap, (and if it is feasible) why not just go to the store yourself and get em.......sounds like she wants to make a profit.

Just a thought......

Well let's see ... Yelm, Kirkland, Yelm, Kirkland. I don't know if I want to drive that.

And why bother posting a title like that if you are just going to say that you are going to buy them all up and not offer them to anyone else. If I wanted to pay 9.95 I would go to Schmucks a couple of blocks away.

Sorry, I have no idea where this store is she is talking about, or how far away from you it is. Was just a suggestion.

As for the entire post/title, I couldn't agree more.

By rig I am guessing you don't mean an 18-wheeler? I didn't know Amsoil was still around...I hadn't heard that name in ages. Go figure.

The regular ones have it on there too they're all I use anymore... makes it so easy... once the car is in the air 5 minutes for an oil change if that. And once I get a kwik-lift (next couple months) it'll be 5-10 minutes max for the complete oil change
