Seen a 30th anniversary TA yesterday Here I am at a gas station yesterday and some dude pulls up in a 30th anni. TA w/ the blue rims and stuff. I proceed in telling him that hes got a nice looking car and talking to him about the car. He told me that its got ported heads and cam. I was like OK I heard it pull up and thought it had a hole in the muffler to myself. As the conversation goes on he tells me that its runs 12.8s back when it didnt have 120 K miles on it. Im like 12.8s with head and cam 
Then hes asking me what I have [cause Im in my truck], and proceed to tell him. And of course then the question about what I run? I tell him high 10's with a cam and juice. And he smarts off with a yeh right to me wheres it at? So I proposed, I'll go home and get it and I can show you "wheres it at!!!" During all of this trash talking between us he turns around and has a police jacket on. So I asked him if he is a cop and of course he was. Then he said that dont mean nothing right now and I'll catch up with you later and show you some tail lights. Then hes gone.So today comes around and Im out for a little bit cruising just to burn gas.And oh my god I run into him and couldnt wait to smoke him. So I catch up to the guy and ask him if his offer still stands? Then of course you know he all of a sudden decided that now not a good time to run'um[on a empty 4 lane road I might add].Next we both hit the same red light and have another conversation about who's faster. He then tells me I'll see you at the track and bring your pocket book next week. What a ***** ,now I'm wondering if he will even pay up if I win. I'll keep you posted.

that's a shame. a race would've been good with that guy. so did it actually sound like a H/C car?

Old story that needed a end. Well I finally make it to the track at a time when this cop was there. And I confonted him about his offer. He was real quick to back down. He thought that he had seen me run already and actually it was someone else who I know that only runs mid 12's. What a *****!!! This go's to show that all cops are not "men of there words". I wish I had my car at the gas station the first time I seen him to really show him want's up.
