Default Moser nodular third member, Tq Arm bracket wont fit

Hey guys, this nine inch rear end assembly was already in the car with a "truck" center section(looks just like a nodular case but without the "N") I found that the rear pinion support was cracked. I had to trim the "ribs" on that case for the bracket to fit. This new one is not even close, even if the ribs were trimmed back, the "bulge" in the left front of the case itself will not allow the bracket to come back far enough for the holes to line up. Anyone encountered this? I have an E mail into Moser.

Thanks
David

Hey Madman, Big Dave from Mobile here, I got the old style steel I guess, It is welded together. Do I have to buy the newer style? Is it better? Does Moser make a center section to work with the bracket I have?

Thanks

David

Moser does make a center for it. On the old style bracket you will have to grind the back side of the bracket, plus you will need to reinforce the front of the bracket with some steel gussets.

Be better to just buy the cast one? Clyde has one.
