with direct port (atleast 100 oct. gas) how much can you spray before you need to have forged pistons and rods?

and which plugs to use?

I am no expert but I have heard the NGK TR6's are the best... Gapped around .35-.40

Some people are going as large as 200 on the stock bottom end..

there are a bunch of local LS1's here in houston that both ran 250+ shots on a stock motor. And this was through a normal wet kit, not a DP. Yes both of the cars held records for the fastest stock bottom end cars. The first was Mike P at Icon Autosports(sponsor) and the other was a car from HPE (also a sponsor)

the guys that run the 200-250 Direct port are using tr6's still?

200 and Tr6's will be fine... Just make sure you are tuned correctly and have removed some timing..

i have a tune for a 250 DP... so would that and the tr6's be ok or is that pushing it with out the forged goods (pistons & rods)?

Lets just say I wouldnt go much more than that. I would stick to 200 if it was me. Make sure your FPSS is operational, your bottle pressure is where it is supposed to be and not high, and your tune is right and you will be ok.
