so the muffler shop would not replace my y-pipe couse there is no o2 sensors that attach to it, its the slp one. where can i get the o2 sims and how bad is is to drive around w/o the one? i know the ses light will come on, i dont care bout that, but is that gonn harm anything.

The shop won't do it most likely cause you don't have cats. Have you seen o2 simms before? I thought they replaced the original o2's in the y-pipe but they don't.
