Why won't yours work? I just used a regular 3-arm puller and had no problem (other than the fact that the POS was basically welded to the crank and I had to use a rosebud on it to heat it up enough to get it off ).

I borrowed a nice, strong 3 jaw puller from autozone. For putting it back on (I did this whole thing in a 35* garage) I heated the inner dia of the pulley with a small torch first so it would slide on far enough to get the crank bolt most of the way in.

Careful how much you heat it though. Heating it reduces the structural integrity. And be especially careful that you DON'T heat the crank very much. That's just bad news waiting to happen.

Just go to autozone and rent a 3-jaw pulley puller from them. Each arm should be about 6" long. Careful with those arms if you're working on your back under the car, they can easily knock out a tooth. Don't ask me how I know...

Haha, yea... I almost did the same thing when a 3-foot 1/2" breaker bar fell off the crank bolt
