from a performance side. Would lt with hi flow cats and 3" y flow better than no cats with a muffler.

Keep in mind it has intake mods and mti x1 cam (230/227 .591/.571 112)
so i know back pressure hurts you with a nice sized cam

man i got mac mids with no cats dumped before the axle with no cross pipe with a lid, and a ported tb and put 348 down last monday. the chart is in the dyno section. i have no idea about how a cam will effect these numbers but hope this helps.
