Default N20 succes stories? How long have you been spraying on stock block?

I've heard about the guys blowing their motors and about how N20 hits harder than other forms of FI so that it is harder on the engine drivetrain etc etc.

Since I am planning on taking the N20 plunge, I'd like to have a little more positive outlook so please let me know how much your spraying and for how long you've been doing it without any problems!

For the record my WS6 has full bolt-ons with about 350rwhp and I plan on just starting out with a 75 shot and will possibly just stay at that. Most I would go would be 125 shot. I don't plan on launching with N20, only from a roll.

Nice. How often did you spray and what power level did you achieve, what were your other mods?

Also, what happened after 3-4 years? Did the motor eventually go?

1 15# bottle every weekend for the 4-5 months I drive the car in a year
no problems, just got bored of being slow; hence the 408stroker
Block, crank, pistons had 50K on it when I sold it, no problems

just be smart, take Nitro Dave's and NXrickys tech advice and you will be fine up to a 150shot (wet) or so.

BTW, NA I was 415rwhp through a 12bolt and auto with that heads/cam setup. Can't remember what the spray dyno # was.

I sprayed my car (bone stock, motorwise, except the lid) for a little over 2 years when it was stock with a 100 shot in the winter and a 125 shot in the summer (both dry).

I've probably put 15 or so bottles through it in that time. I've never been sorry about going with the juice.

I'm just chicken to spray it now, because i'm worried about breaking stuff with the new found N/A power. That and 1st is pretty much all the power the car can handle anyway.

btw, here's a pic of my block when I had it apart for the H/C swap. There were still hatch marks in the cylinder walls with a little over 58K on the odo.

Been spray almost every weekend during the summer for the last 3+ years. Number of bottles ????? MANY MANY . Still stock bottom end. Heads/cam, a **** pot full of suspension upgrades and every bolt on. 400+rwhp N/A. Over 600 rwhp on 200 shot and almost 700 rwtq. Best times in signature. Our season is just starting. Should have new times (hoping for 9's) end of this month. My web-site has all my mods.

Yep, I've been spraying for 3+ seasons too. Motor is still running strong and has no signs of giving up yet.

Wow, meanWS6 and Navy David, those are some serious testaments the stock bottom end durability!

One thing i can't figure out meanWS6 is how you were slow with 415rwhp NA and a 150 shot on top of that? Thats like 570rwhp. Thats slow?? lol.

Either way I can't believe you guys are putting that much power down with N20 and going though bottle after bottle over the years!

here I was all worried about spraying a 100 shot on with my car which has about 350rwhp right now. But it sounds like that 450rwhp will be fine as long as I have the N20 setup properyl. heck that sounds like nothing compared to you guys at the 600rwhp level!

What are some of your secrets?

Just take it in steps, learn and obtain knowledge and you'll be fine. Go for it, imo. Been doing it for many years, it's the guys that get greedy without a true undrstanding of what their doing, that have problems.
