i just got the rear in and all adjusted...still need a lil work on the pinion angle but i will work on it

i have a moser 12 bolt with the 1350 yoke on the pinion..my problem is that the driveshaft is going into the tranny more then it sould and i just want to know it this is normal?

it looks like it need to be shortened about an inch...it works for now but before i race it i would like to know what the deal is

did anyone else have to shorten there ds with a moser 12bolt with a 1350 yoke?

Very often a driveshaft conversion is needed when changing out a rear end. a lot of guys that are just driving on the streets will stick with the sticker if it is close. here is a link to a site that has a great calculater to see what you need. pretty simple to use.

That sounds weird. I've done several 12 bolts and only thing had to change on the drive shaft was the yoke to match up to the 12 bolt.

Mosers 1350 yolk is about 1" longer than the others that is your problem.You need a
driveshaft 1" shorter than stock for that combo.

Only thing that we changed for the 12 bolt is the yoke. Kept the stock driveshaft length.


How did you get 4.10's in that Moser 12 bolt
