Got Killed by a bike
Left campus today and got behind a blue yamaha, i don't know if it was an r1 or r6, don't know the diff, but it had to be a 600. He let me get beside him b4 he hit it, we were both rollin around 10, i steyed beside him in 1st, and he barely pulled me in 2nd, 3rd he started pullin on me pretty good, all in all, it was fun since its been like 2 weeks since i have had any action. Guy gave me thumbs up as I did to him. Hopefully Ill be walkin him in june when the F2 kits gets on

not really..600's aren't that quick, i know that from seeing them run, its not like it was close at the top of 2nd and goin into third...third just got nasty...but with a 150 shot goin on, i think i can change that outcome

speaking of bikes, i believe the 2005 yamaha r6 (the greeen one running from the helicopter in the commercial)runs 10s stock...correct me if im wrong...a friend of mine has one just like it. they are 636 cc's...but nonetheless any of those sport bikes are gonna be hard to beat without some serious modification

Launching!
Sport bike magazine ran a 9.93 or something like that with an 05 R6, mostly stock. It had a lowering strap and -1 tooth on the sprocket. And I highly doubt you would be anywhere close to a R6 with your mods. It's not that hard to haul *** on a bike, i dont know if he is unable to ride, or was messing with you?

Here we go again with the BIKE VS CAR BS
NICE DRIVING HOSS with a unit the bike will be sucking!!!!!!!!!
But be careful RICKEY G might be at the next light waiting on his strapped geared 9 second R6...because all bikes come geared and strapped from the factory nowadays
NoFiveO go to the track and run a 9.......I think you'll find it a little harder then the mag demonstrates! Heck, I'd be impressed if you ran in the a 10s. It takes more than a twist of the wrist to ride a bike. Its all about Driver vs Driver nothing more.
I've fought this battle before (people have called BS on my kills in my Z)........so bring it on
FYI: Before all of you two wheel warriors start in on me, I'm a rider and have owned 9 bikes from a 250 Ninja to a CBR 929.....and currently looking at a Hayabusa
NOTE: Rickey Gadson was the first rider to put a (geared and strapped) R6 in the 9s

Staging Lane
According to a magazine article I have sitting at home (I will post a scan once I get home from work), the new 600's are all right around 10.5 @ 132 or so. Mine only has 200 miles on it so far, so I have not taken it to the track. Tonight is the first night that the track is open here (stupid winter), but it is raining, so I will not be making any passes at all
From a dig is where those bikes shine as far as I have seen. The aerodynamics at higher speeds are lacking, and they start to back off a bit.
Long story short.....better have some decent power to run a new bike!

Sorry hoss but I have to go with the bike was playing with you or he just cant ride worth anything. I've been riding for a little over a year (which means im still a squid in the bike world) and I've put car lenghts on a viper and a buss or two on a cobra. Either way the 150 shot will definently make it a better race
