Probably a dumb question but here goes
Will gears affect dyno numbers? The reason I am asking is I am at a point where I need to get my gears installed and get my car dynoed. I did mail order tuning so I could get my car going. I told them I was going to put 3.73's in the rear but I havent yet. So what I thought was I could go ahead and get it dynoed first and then have them put my gears in. It is hard for me to take off of work b/c I live 300 miles from Dallas. So I would like to make a day out of it. Or do I just need to install the gears first, break them in and then get a dyno?
