Default do you need a adj master with....

a spec stage 3 clutch install?? i am about to install my spec stage 3 clutch and was wondering if i need to get a adj master for install?? also are there any special shims i need. saw another post and wasn't sure if it applied to the spec clutch. thanks

No, an adjustable master cylinder is not needed. If I'm not mistaken, spec recommends you go with a non-adjustable master (stocker) for their clutches. There should be a shim that will come with your clutch that goes between the slave cylinder and the tranny. I think the thickness is .055".

ok i got it thanks. also how do you know if i have the new 3i clutch from spec??

i though that spec changed their clutches to dual compound or something?
