Default Need Help....Crankshaft oil deflector...

Ok first off...im building a 383 on a ls6 block...4 inch crank 6.125 rods..problem is that the crankshaft oil deflector i just bought when its installed the crankshaft hits it when i turn it over by hand...im guessing this is due to the longer stroke...I need suggestions PLEASE on how to solve this...i dont think i can just leave this part out because the oil pickup tube sits ontop if im correct...any help would be great...thanks again guys...

Space the windage tray up with some washers. This is very common on the 4.00" stroker crankshafts.

You are going to most likely have to cut and weld the oil pickup tube bracket as well since it will be spaced up , decreasing the distance between the pickup and the bottom of the oil pan.
