HP Tuners 2.0 Update
Some of you may or may not have read, they extended the upgrade time, per Keith's post:
Dear HP Tuners Customers,
I understand all of your concerns about support expiration before the release of V2.0
While it may appear that we are stalling or having problems, I can assure you that is far from the truth. When we were deciding on the layout for 2.0 we decided to do a ground up design on both hardware and software.
HP Tuners is implementing over 1 year of customer and internal feature requests and is leaving room for future enhancements.
Please keep in mind that the automotive manufacturers are also making changes in their designs, so we have to both incorporate the current and anticipate the future changes.
With that being said we will not release details on 2.0 or the actual release date. As the walls have ears (and some of them big mouths), we are tight lipped about what 2.0 is and can do.
What we will do is extend support to those who have valid support on April 15, 2005. That means if your VCM Suite shipped on or after October 15, 2004, you will receive the VCM Suite 2.0 upgrade. This does NOT cover optional hardware upgrades.

I agree with 99Formula. Why rush something and push it through if its not done right. As they said, they'll give everyone who recently purchased 1.6 free upgrades so I don't see the problem.
I'd rather them do it right the first time than have me ship the damn thing back and for a million times because the program has flaws.
Take your time guys. Thanks for the update.

I didn't say to rush it. I am just getting a little frustrated with re-posted v2.0 updates. At least give us an actual update, not a re-post. If I wanted to know that 2.0 was still in the works I would re-read the zillion other posts about it.

Easy does it! I'm sure there working hard getting 2.0 together. Just stop and think about how much work is needed to get LS2 support going and adding all the cool stuff there working on and creating a new GUI front end from what I hear.

Anyhow.....I am patiently waiting for v2.0. Just sold my current HPT copy cuz its more economical to buy the new setup for the things I want. I'd like to install my cam and start tuning by my b-day(June 11).
