Can clogged cat damage motor?
I have been running with the P0420 code for awhile so I assuming I have a clogged cat. Car was running fine just had SES. However, recently I have been getting a really rough idle. Sounds almost like it's knocking at idle but the scanmaster shows nothing. Doesn't do it when cold. Once driving the sound seems to be gone, but at WOT I get about 3* of knock. Did I wait to long to get cat fixed and it melted something?
