Default transmission temperature with 3600 stall

On the highway in D (locked most of the time): 180*
On the city streets in 3 (locked most of the time) 200 - 210*

This is with very light driving style - I have not even gone WOT once. I'm afraid of what the temps might be like if I drive hard..

Is this normal ? Seems sorta hot to me

I do have a b&m 24,000gvw tranny cooler

The guys that installed my gauge (TTP) assured me that its showing the correct temperature, and I tend to believe them.

So. Opinions?

Should I daisy chain 2 coolers ?

When I had my 3600 in the car, it ran at 150* on the highway and never got above 180* in the city. With the 4200 in it now, its still 150* on the highway but shoots up to 200-210* range in the city.

Hey firechicken, where did TTP install your cooler? Mines is connected to the bracket right behind the plastic air deflector under the car.

That sounds like where Eastside installed my cooler. Now if I could just get off my butt and install the gauge I'd be set

TTP didnt install it - the guys that installed my converter installed it.. everything else on my car besides the converter and cooler was done by TTP, heh

The cooler is right behind the plastic thingy, whatever it does, under the bumper.. dont know wtf the plastic thing is called.
