Default Killed by an EVO!

I lost my first street race today. I was cruisin down the highway at about 75, roll up next to this nice red Evo, looked lowered, had an exhaust, and 3 gauge pod on the pillar... and some aftermarket wheels. It looked pretty sweet honestly, so I gave the guy a thumbs up and he did the same.

I then proceeded to downshift with me in front by about 5 feet.. I heard him hit it so I took off in 3rd gear. He rolled by at pretty good rate, I shifted into 4th with him past my front bumper, hit about 110 and had to stop for traffic. I dont think I would have started catching up... it was a pretty quick car.

So I rolled up next to him and gave the thumbs up again. Sux losing but I have to give respect when its due.

my mods are a SLP Lid and a Loudmouth. Time for some more mods!

Wow he must have been modded pretty well to keep up with an LS1 on the freeway.

yea i must agree.. sounds like he got the jump.. thats the shitty thing about street racing.. for a high roll like that a 1/4 second jump is hard to run down... for example... if my dad is driving my hemi truck and i let him jump out a few cars on my camaro it takes a few seconds for me to wind up and get past him ya know... just an example.

wow, little harsh. Even if he wound it out in 3rd chances are he wasnt going to catch a modded evo anyway.

you're pretty ignorant. I have the car floored, the evo is obviously floored, and he's pulling away. How would you like me to drive my car better? He beat me before I even had to shift.

edit - took out the name calling comment.

Yeah, never underestimate anything with a hair dryer. My buddy's buddy (Yeah, but I've seen the car), has an old Dodge Omni turbo that would run 12's. He used to beat on this guy with a 96 or 97 Cobra Mustang. It used to eat that guys *** at just the metion of the Omini. "Hey man those Omni's are fast huh?"
