So I was eating barbeque wings then someone calls and I wipe my hands quickly yet I still got barbeque on my motorola v265 phone. I was pissed. Then I had a great idea. I washed it with dawn, clay bar (for the overspray), scrath remover (i dropped it one time), nxt wash, nxt polish, 3m hand glaze, and lastly mothers carnuba. Cant see the attention to detail I put into it but its there. I was able to get out the swirl marks too.

truth be told I did this when I was painting my lid because I had the paint. I'm not that sick to do this as a special project

Nothing neurotic about that...my very wise Grandpa used to use car wax for:
Frigerator
Stove
Dishwasher (front)
Washer & Dryer tops
All sinks in the house & tubs
and his phone
He also used to:
take wax paper, rub the base of light bulbs so they never got stuck on the house fixtures and the same on his car bulbs - they lasted much longer. Try it on your christmas lights, you will thank Grandpa for that when you change one burnt out. Spark plugs, yep. Pullys, yep (when changing to new ones of course).
Keys. Car keys. House keys. Padlock keys...they will never freeze up. Wheels on smaller things (like our roller skates). Never a squeek, he hated the smell of WD40
To this day I use RainX wax for the sinks, tubs and all phones and keep a roll of wax paper on hand at all times. Friggin works wonders - and he was a custom wood boat builder most of his life so he knew what he was doing
for wax and wax paper on any phone!
