I am just wondering what kind of full advance timing some of you guys are running with larger displacement motors. Compressions in the 11-11.5:1 area.
I believe that typically the larger motors don't tolerate as much timing at WOT as the head/cam setups.

It seems like a lot of tuners feel that 18-19 is a max. with the bigger bore. I was always under the impression that a larger bore tends to like more timing. Then of course these motors are so damn efficient that they don't need as much timing when there NA.
I have a project that I feel has a bit more torque in it in the mid range and wanted to feed it some more advance. Between the dyno and data logging I guess I'll know where its going!
