Guys who Drag Race, Come On In...
I'm just curious to see what all 60" times you're pulling on your stock converters. My best so far is a 1.94 on ET Streets. I'm just wondering if there is something that I can do differently, because my car is nice and consistent, but I want to cut my 60" times down, and I think that the only way is going to be for me to get a stall converter.
So, stock converter guys, post up your best 60", your suspension setup, and how you launch it.
Thanks,
Allen

Best I was ever able to get outta the stock verter was 2.0.. Honestly do not waste your time trying the squeeze more 60ft outta the stock verter you will only be fighting an up hill battle.. Got get you a stall and be done with it..

2.03 on street tires in my '00 B4C which has an SLP lid and a trimmed EGR tube. whoopee.
Recently I swapped in a pair of BMR LCA's and put poly endlinks on the rear sway bar. Those were after the 2.03, however. I just did it to ensure the car will launch consistently. It's my wife's DD, but sometimes I steal it to go bracket racing. I did those suspension mods to ensure I can continue to be lazy and not need to swap on some DR's when it goes to the track.

Lid, catback with no cats, subframe connectors, and no sway bars. 255/50/16 MT et street radials, My car is also a hard top, Ive pulled several low 1.8's and a best of 1.77 while NA. On the bottle im very low 1.6, with a 1.60 best. I preload the stall to 1200, then floor it, and let off the brake, just like the other guys.

I'm not a big drag racer, but I do go to the track occasionally ... best with stock converter, street tires, and LCA's was 2.14. Nitto's would have taken me into the high 1.9's. Launched by lightly stabbing the throttle and then flooring it. Any attempt to stall it up resulted in breaking loose badly at the line.
