Default Help PC7424

My foam backing pad that came with my Porter Cable 7424 celaminated from the plastic wheel.

For buffing, polishing, waxing etc, what is a good wheel setup to buy for the PC?

I got the Sonus pad set, has several different pads for different processes (polishing, buffing, waxing)
There are also Lake County (LC) pads.
Visit www.autopia.org you can get them from their online store, along with reviews of pads

Not sure if that pad set comes with the backing plate, but you can find all the info on that site.

Doesn't the 7424 use 6" pads?

The 6" backing plate can be used with 6" pads or the LC 7.5" pads. The mating surface on the 7.5" pad is the same size.
