startup spark correction, with a cam can you increase the numbers?
im having troubles on cold start up, the problem seems to be low timing, im getting 10-12* on cold starts and was wondering if with a cam i should take this table and increase all the numbers that are negative by about 2* or 3*?

I was having some surging problems.
Startup Spark Correction table. I cut all the timing reduction values in half for the first 10 seconds of startup. So if the reduction value was -10 it is now -5. It starts just like stock now, no surging.
I did nothing with the Startup Spark Correction Mult vs. Startup ECT table.
edit, sorry about the confusion this should clear it up.

id like to know what checkmate did because that is what my car is doing, and only in cold open loop start. for about 7-10 sec the car will overshoot and then bog down really low and end up comming back up to about 100 rpm lower than where i want it to be, which is why i was thinking the timing could be keeping the motor from that?
any ideas?

If I had my laptop in front of me I would post a screen shot. I can do this later if need be.
