I just got the Pro 5.0. Little pricey but I heard mostly good things about them. thinking of getting the Lou's short stick to go with it.

Well I dont know, the chrome finsh makes it look so professional and effective But seriously, I feel like the threads will be smoother on this one.

What do you mean by the notch? How do you like your Pro 5.0 though? I just ordered it after months of indecision so I hope I'm staisfied.

My pro 5.0 is notchy also but I'm starting to get used to it. Also I found the LSS to be to far right. It is streight up and down. The pro stick is angled to the left but is to tall, so I cut about 2" off the top and their was still enough threads to bit on to.
The LSS sits really far to the right, and I have short arms.
I really like the bump stop bolts, that will keep me from ripping it to hard.

The Ripper is supposedly just as good as the Pro 5.0, from what Ive read its alittle smoother than the Pro 5.0, but the Pro 5.0 is better for powershifting.

Ive tried all the shifters... I like the feel for the hurst better than any other one! The other shifters feel stronger before installing... but once installed i didnt like the feelings so i always went back to hurst!

The B&M is good. Shifts alot better than the hurst IMO. But the throws dont feel any shorter to me either.

Get a pro 5.0 and get their short angled stick. Its the best combo i've had yet and I've gone through everything.
