Default 98 dual walbro in tank pics

Not the first guy to do it I know, total cost in parts 265.00. I ran an extra power wire out for one of the pumps just in case both were too much but it seems to be working just fine with both pumps running. Still on the stock feed line and 5/16 V6 return line. Fuel pressure is still dropping a couple PSI but holiing about 2psi higher then the single 255 + BAP @ 17 volts.

Anyhow, I want to keep all the stock vent stuff so I'm trying to stay with the stock feed line and I think this will work at the power level I'm shooting for. Only downside is the gas gauge is staying on E now so while jamming the whole mess in there I may have popped off the float or something - good thing for trap doors

Looks like the pic upload is broken - I'll upload some pics when it work again..

Thanks for the pics... looks like I'll be going the twin 255 route. wonder if I should just splice into the racetronix single 255 harness or just get rid of that (new in the box) and get two more new pumps?!

I just bought two new pump kits, I just made my harness with a relay up front and 10ga wire all the way back and use the wire going to original fuel pump to turn the relay on. I dont know what I'll do with the racetronix pump - hard to sell it used. The racetronix pump was a little different then the 255s I got, I just wanted to have everything the same but if you can get OK money for the new racetronix probably better off starting off with two of the exact same pumps.

Yes as it comes stock in our tanks from GM.

KP thanks for posting pics....I'm about to do this. The fuel lines will have to come later but I'll do the intanks now so all i'll have to do is run the lines.

it holds pressure just fine as is, I was able to to drop my a/f one full point and the WOT fuel pressure never changed. Dont really think the BAP is necessary, at least for me anyhow.
