Anybody have experience with trans king?
Just ordered a th350 from HPE. They have trans king build the transmission. Does anyone have any experience with Trans King. I talked with Rick and he indicated that the th350 would be fine up to about 1000hp. Transmission is a reverse valve body with trans break. Also has a free spool in second gear so when I downshift to second the motor just goes to idle in second gear until I give it gas.

Cool, that makes me feel even better about the decision. I could have chosen a th400 but I figured I might as well shed a few pounds with the th350 if it would work for me and it appears it will.

I have a Transking (Madman Racing Package) and it rocks. Though I did go with a TH400, a few of my friends have fragged TH350's, though they are stout in taking lots of horsepower, they do not like heavy cars.

Well from my 200-4R swap, I'll be reusing the driveshaft (Denny's nitrous ready shaft) and trans cooler (B&M 24k GVW). What brand of converter comes in the kit because I was thinking of using a Protorque, what are your thoughts on that brand/company? On the dipstick, I was either gonna pick up a TH350 36" Lokar one or if the one from my 200-4R will work, I'll keep it. On the crossmember, I was thinking of just buying the one from BMR. Last but not least, whats the ultrabell?

Everyone PM Brian at Madman for pricing. He has the scoop on what you need for a complete conversion. He runs a great company, and the whole kit showed up in one big crate, nothing missing or on "back order". Ask him about upgrading to a billet input shaft (recommend) and Aeromotive fastners and braided line for the cooler that is included with his kit.
You will need a shifter, tranny temp gauge, TH400 tranny mount, some washers, a case of tranny fluid, 12ga wiring/connectors, and about a weekend to get it done. I use a Cheetah SCS shifter that has a built in transbrake button, and upgraded to an aftermarket SCI rated flywheel.

I plan on having my TH350 built with all the goodies, reverse manual valvebody, and transbrake. I'll probably end up going with the BMR crossmember. I have a 36" Lokar dipstick for my 200-4R and I have no problem with it, so I may just get another one of those but for the TH350 of course. On the shifter, I'm really set on the Hurst Pistol Grip, but I dont know if I need front or rear exit. I'm going to reuse my TCI SFI approved flexplate. I already have a tranny temp guage and a TH350 trans. mount. So all I would need is the tranny and converter. The converter I've already have a company I'm looking at, but not 100% sure yet. I really need to figure out which shifter I need. Do I need rear or front exit? There are like 3 or 4 of them that I've found with all different part numbers.
