Mazda Rx8 wants to play hey I'm fast whatcha got...
On my way home from work driving all smooth and calm and a shiny new rx8 slips in front of me abruptly a passenger looking back at me like heh, you about to be eaten boy cause we bad, WE BAD!
So I kinda cruise along while they have a few tempermental outbursts of slowness entirely too impressive to recall.
Here comes the opening.... I wait....here they come ***** to the wall....no stopping to race from a fair start here, oh no, they come racing with a full head a steam start. After all, all is fair in love and war with a ricer. Soze, I watch them cruise by and drop that sumbitch in third, glance to my left and see a couple a monkey's grinning like they are doing something. At the top of third I re-aquaint myself with the monkey'sn and as I shift into forth I bid them adue, after that I lost sight.
So the monkees drive up to finally submit and give props but I say no monkeys, lets go from the same speed roll, so that you can really understand your place in the food chain. I am tenaciously giving him the forward sign so that he punches. He nods and gives that sombitch all she's got, and I pause to pick a nugget from my nose thats been bothering me since like 3:30, roll that sumbitch into a ball firm enough to let the wind take her from my precious. Only at that point do I hammer third and I glance to my right and see a couple a silly sonzabiches with the look on their face like wtf i thought we punched it, I proceed to row the gears like I'm in an olympic final and I tweak my rearview just enough to realize I am presently in a different state than my monkey friends. I believe they were still in connecticut while I was pulling into my driveway.
And anyhow, I just wanted to share this little story of my commute home from work today. happy monkey hunting

well done. nothing like embarrassing the hell out of an overconfident driver, ricer or LS1er or whatever or not. Good job.

lol, thanks guys. The story was just for ***** and giggles. I mean it did happen (except for the connecticut and booger part) but calling them monkey's and all I am just joking around, after they realized I was much faster they were cool about it and gave props, they were just some young kids out having some fun. I know when I was young I'd do the same **** with the running start etc and used to think my toyota celica was fast, lol. And honestly it was a cool looking car. I'd of loved to have had that car when I was 17. I just had to properly represent our cars and have a little fun in the process

Yeah, the looked humbled at first but you could tell they were enjoying the show. It was just like the one time I ran into a 475rwhp Cobra, and I was almost all stock, and the guy was making me feel like I was standing still. I was humbled at first and it sucked to be made to feel like your car isn't even moving when your giving it all she's got, but I got over that quickly and enjoyed the view of watching that beast go. There's always someone faster. best just to enjoy it. (Unless there's money on the line of course, lol).

Yeah I agree it's a cool looking car but the fact that its pretty slow takes a lot away from it when you see them. When we raced from the same speed (about 60mph) and I let him hit it first, after I punched it I immediately flew right past him, it wasn't even a race. My girlfriend also easily killed one in her stock 94TA. Its not like they are that bad though, they are quick little cars (relative to everyday cars) and I am sure they are fun to drive.
